They are likely BBQ chips - you wet them and put them in a tin can or tray on your coals in your BBQ. They create smoke to flavour your burgers etc. I can recall seeing mesquite, hickory, and apple wood chips. Can also be used in a propane BBQ. Yum. Drool, drool.

Another freebie today, I got the Infant Jesus Chaplet, it is really pretty, a lot nicer than it looked on the site, they show it with white beads, mine has red peralized beads, came with a laminated prayer card and 2 other card/booklets, unlaminated. Definately a freebie.
