This is how you can get daily points at Youtopia. All those quizzes and such are great of course, but you can only do the majority of them once. I'm currently averaging a little over a hundred points a day with the following. Your milage may vary.
Daily:
Log-in (5 points)
Yup, that's right you get 5 points just for logging in. Name... password... that's easy enough, right?
e-mail, chat, calendar, profile (20 points)
Just click the links to go through these areas and that's 5 points a pop. You don't actually have to enter anything in the calendar, send any e-mail or talk in the chat room, you get points just for stopping by.
Wack the pop stars (10 points)
Fun though this is, I've never managed to get more than 10 points at this game. Frankly, it doesn't seem like there are even twenty-five heads to whack. And can I just say how frustrating it is when I'm whacking and whacking away and it just doesn't seem to register. Aww well, ten points is ten points. I'll take them.
Bumper cars (50 points)
This one has to be my favorite. I can basically get 50 points a day at this game. It may take me a few tries, but remember, if at first you don't succeed.... You can keep trying until you get it, your highest score for the day counts. Tip: Start the game with your fingers on the up and right arrows, this will take you right into the side of the other car.
Monkey Trading (27 points)
This is a stock market trading game which is reset every month. Theoretically, you can win points for being a top trader, but one look at the top traders list will show you how flawed this game must be. Still, you get 10 points for starting the game each month, as well as up to 5 points a day for researching stocks and around 22 a day for trading over two sessions. I know the secret to winning on the stock market is "buy and hold", but in monkey trading it's "buy and sell". It's all about the transactions baby. A note, buying and selling won't work in ie on a mac, so fire up netscape you mac users out there.
Every three days:
Buzz (25 points)
You can do five Buzz survey questions every three days. Five points per question. Don't worry if you run out of time, just go on and the question will come back. There's no way to lose this one... well, unless you forget to play.
Every week:
M@dnoyz ( points)
Reset every Tuesday, you can play once a week. This one can depend a lot on your knowldge of teen bands, so for most it may be mainly luck. Or... if you've really been wanting to check out that Britney website, maybe it can be an excuse. First there's a picture that they only show you a piece at a time while you try to guess who it is (hey, I got Moby based on an ear last week, I'm so proud). Then there will be trivia questions about the band and some bonus questions. Regardless of whether or not you know any of the answers, you've gotta get some points just by luck.
Whenever:
YOUr Chainletter (100 points
Definitely the easiest way to get points, refer your friends (or at least the people who used to be your friends before they got this). If they sign up, you get 100 points. There is an age limit though. Those under 13 have to go through a process of demonstrating parental consent.
You Wish (1 point x ?)
Put things on your wish list and get a point a piece. This one's not very appealing, because it would take all bloody day to get decent pointage. Still, know your options.
Let the games begin!
