that WAS not fair and you got shafted..i would really talk to someone about that at the radio station...it was their fault and not yours and they should have done better in reimbursing you for the more expensive prize! don't take it! phone or email the promo person and come from a place of gratefulness and yet stand your ground that a $15 cd does not really cut it!..i would! they at least should have sent you two tickets to another concert! shame on them for being so cheap and dishonest!

well not a win..but a comment..not sure if some of you have noticed wins are very slow in coming this year and when they do they seem small? well to me and others who have been at it quite a few thousand years ( ha ha ) have found it so!
i read the other night that there are over 900 million people on facebook and that 100 million of them are now entering contests..hmmm....food for thought eh!

Interesting statistic. But I think most of us are entering Canadian contests only. Our population is roughly 34 million, no where near the U.S. pop (over 300 million). And of those, who knows the actualy percentage of how many Canadians actually enter contests on a regular basis. I personally don't enter US/Can contests simply because it's too difficult to stand a chance with those odds.

Also, it's my belief that the wins will start rolling in, don't know of many major contests with large prizes that have ended recently. Keep your chins up fishies....and hey even the smaller wins like free movie passes are sure to put a bright spot in your day!

I have definitely noticed a major difference - and find it quite annoying actually

I still enjoy contesting and hoping for a *biggish* win soon - But, I don't like how popular contesting has become, with shows about it now etc - (ok ok, I know..that's a little selfish heheh).

As for the CAN/US contests, I don't enter those. Mainly because, I spend quite a few hours just on the Canadian Contests alone. I also worry about their shipping policies on items and whatnot - So I would rather just skip it altogether

Couldn't find the Freebie Help discussion even after going back like 2 months so posting here...

I am assuming this is not legit but wanted to get another opinion from others. This morning i received a text message saying that I had won a contest and to claim my prize at www.apple.com.wonacontest.com (weird address, no?). It said I had to do it within 24 hours. It takes me to some website called Ziinga and says nothing about contests.

Did anyone else recieve this?

Yeah i had it, after google i say in redflags forum or deals that it's a scam and has viruses.
