Win a "Bach's set" next week
All next week on the 10:30 Bach Break, get ready to call in and win; Alexa Petrenko is giving away five 155-CD Bach box sets from Brilliant Classics!
It's quite a package -- around here, we've been calling it the "Bach's set." So that got us thinking: How many other composers' names also sound like English words?
Quite a few, as it turns out, which brings us to this exclusive Classical Club contest. We've set aside one more Bach's set for a Club member who can fill in the blanks below:
Example: ______ of grievances = LISZT of grievances
1. ______ seek
2. ______ of dreams
3. ______-back Mountain
4. ______-bar moustache
5. ______ you were sleeping *
* If you're stuck on this one, here's a hint: try saying it like The Count from Sesame Street: "[blank] you vere zleeping! Ah, ah, ah!"
Okay, got 'em all? To enter, simply reply to newsletter@classical963fm.com and put "Bach's set contest" in the subject line. Everyone who emails the complete, correct list (Liszt?) to us by Friday, March 30 will be eligible to win the 155-CD Bach's set from Brilliant Classics.
If you need help, try Wikipedia, Allmusic, or our own Classical Glossary.
