I got the Greenies today too. My boyfriend found an article online about a class action lawsuit against Greenies because it caused intestinal blockage and/or death in 25 (I think?) dogs in the US. (Sorry, I don't know what site he read it on.) So I haven't given them to the dogs as I'm a little paranoid now...has anyone heard about this? If it's true, 25 would be a tiny percentage, since they sell a lot of them...but still! (BTW I'm not trying to stress out anyone who gave their dogs Greenies!!)

You know, a few years back there was the same hype with rawhide bones and pigs ears. Causes blockage, carries salmonella, they can choke, blah blah blah. Dogs are not the smartest creatures out there and can actually choke on their tongue if given the opportunity. Besides, anything that can lick its own crotch probably already has a mess of other problems! I have given my dog every treat imaginable and she has never had a problem except for rawhide, which I found splintered too much and made me nervous because she would cough a lot after having one. I have been giving my dog and cats Greenies for quite a while now and have run into no problems. In fact, they are the preferred treat around here. Use at your own discretion of course, but I love them and just received four "tasty" packs a few days ago. Each to their own but I have no problem with them!

This is more fun than when the pigs ate my little brother!!

Thanks for the laugh Nemo! I couldn't agree more and I doubt there is anything quite as slow-brained as a Newfie!

And for that reason I haven't given my "babydog" any Greenies because he tends to forget to chew & instead swallows things whole, and from what I have read any problems with these treats have been caused by the dog not chewing properly. So, use your own discretion - you know your pet better than anybody

1st e-mail : http://www.msdg.ca/hairapy/images/body_sample.gif
2nd email : Thanks again for being part of our exclusive product tester program! Don’t forget to go to come back on a weekly basis to http://www.exclusivetrial.com/hairapy to give us your honest feedback on the product.
Hope that helps

I totally understand that it states that they want you to come back once a week to give them feedback, as I was doing, but nowhere does it state: "Ohterwise it states that you will no longer be eligable to test products for Unilever"

I have read everywhere and it does not state that you will not be eligible to test unilever products.

Of course they want your feedback because if there is anything wrong with their product they want to be able to fix the flaws if there are any.

Guess it depends on the store. I paid tax on them because that's the only way Zehrs could ring it in. Plus the coupon says that purchaser must pay sales tax.

With respect to the Greenies dog treats. I do not have a dog, but my daughter just got a puppy 2 months ago. I ordered the greenies sample for her. She received it when all the hoopala was going on about them. The sample was in a million pieces and because of the concerns, she threw it out. When she took the dog to the vet she was given a puppy "care package". In it was a greenies treat. She decided this time to try the treat. The dog absolutely fell in love with the treat. She played and played with it while she ate it. My daughter watched her very carefully the whole time she had the treat... she said the only way you could tell the dog had even had the treat was the "toxic poops" she left behind! Watch carefully and use your own judgement. That is the definitely the best advice.

It's more fun to color outside the lines!

You're supposed to if the coupon says the customer is responsible for the tax.

Oops sorry, the part about not being able to test products for Unilever again was in the form you originally filled out to be a product tester ... it said " if you are chosen to be a product tester you must come back to the site weekly to give your feedback otherwise you will be ineligable to test products for Unilever" for some odd number of years I can't remember exactly - maybe 3?
Sorry 'bout the confusion - anyhoo just wanted to make sure that nobody accidentally disqualified themselves from future freebies
