I don't have it on my home computer, but I do at work. I was once looking to translate a word from French to english and so I typed in a search request for a french translator. It brought up a program that you can download and it teaches you the language. You can use speakers or headphones to hear the pronunciations. I think there were all kinds of languages available, but try doing a search.

This site has a TON of courses that you can watch video lessons for, including languages like French, German, Spanish, as well as maths, social sciences, etc.

I started on the French one a while back then got unmotivated

Check out your local library, they should have quite a few tapes and kits to help you learn another language.

I read an article about these audio lessons that a dude
named Michel Thomas developed. Apparently you can
pick up the languages quickly using his method. I ended
up downloading the complete set of French ones, as
well as Spanish and some Italian. I've yet to try them
out myself.
