I can't find the posts about the free cat food coupons that came from purina i think it was. My mother tried redeeeming it, and the size it lists is not available anywhere. (Its bigger than whats in store) Was anyone able to find the right size anywhere to redeem the coupon? Thanks in advance.

I need an opinion on something. I have seen a few contests that state something like this in the rules:

Entry limitations: Maximum of one (1) entry per person, per day during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry used. (Internet, Snail Mail, Telephone)

In the case where all 3 methods are in place, how do you think they would consider a snail mail entry when entering by all 3 methods (1 method only per day) throughout the contest.

(For instance I snail mail an entry off today, would that entry be considered entered for the day it is postmarked, or the day rec'd?)

I guess what I'm saying is, to avoid disqualifying yourself for entering more than once a day, how would you handle entries if you wanted to enter by mail but also, say enter online as well? I wouldn't want my online entry and snail mail entry to be considered received on the same day.

Any ideas? Not sure I articulated this well!!

Hi Sarc!

I believe that there are two things that the folks running the contests look for in a mulitple entry situation.

1: postmark - will show if you entered by mail several times in one day (also you cannot control when the postie delivers it)

2: Total # of entries vs. total # of days in the contest run (ie: contest runs for 30 days, you have submitted 19 online entries, 5 phone entries and 10 by mail = 34/disqualified).

Hope that helps a little bit - but every contest may be different. If anyone else has other thoughts on the matter, please do share

I want to contact Purina, but can never get onto their website. When I try it says I'm not registered (which I am) and if I try to register it says my email is already in their data base! In any case, if you click on "contact us" it either gives a phone # for an automated system or the US website link. Help!

I sent a note off to Jean Coutu asking why I wasn't receiving any samples. Here is their response:

We recently received your request. Unfortunately we are no more allowed to send our samples outside our commercial territory, i.e. outside the area where our network of stores is currently operating. Our PJC Free Sample Club offering is made available for our Quebec, New Brunswick and Eastern Ontario customers only.

That must be why I haven't got my samples either.
