The Prime Ticket Movie Munchies Contest - Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. Pick up “The Prime Ticket Movie Munchies Contest” ballot in the Toronto SUN, available in paper Monday through Friday, July 18 to August 12, 2005.
2. Watch Toronto 1’s Prime Ticket Movie; Monday at 9pm and Tuesday to Friday at 8pm and 10pm, July 18 to August 12, 2005 for the “Munchies Clue” that will appear in the movie. The “Munchies Clue” will appear as a food icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen for a minimum of five (5) seconds during the movie.
3. Mail your completed ballot including your name, mailing address, daytime phone number, agreement to the contest rules and regulations and a “Munchie clue” from the Prime Ticket Movie to:

Entries must be received by August 19, 2005, from here on referred to as ‘the contest closing date’. One entry per envelope.
Alternate entry method: Mail a reasonable facsimile of the ballot from The Sun, completed with your name, mailing address, daytime phone number, agreement to the contest rules and regulations and a “Munchie clue” from the Prime Ticket Movie to “The Prime Ticket Movie Munchie Contest” Toronto Sun P.O. Box 4109, Station A, Toronto, ON M5W 2T8 so that it is received before the contest closing date. One entry per envelope.
4. Prizing
Grand Prize:
There will be one (1) Grand Prize. The Grand Prize will be $10,000 in Canadian funds dispensed in the form of cheque from TORONTO 1.
Secondary Prizes:
There are twenty (20) Sony 13 inch Flat screen TV’s to be won and four (4) $100 gift certificates redeemable at Pickle Barrel restaurants in Ontario.
The Prize winners will be randomly selected on or around August 22nd 2005 from all entries collected by the contest closing. Odds of winning dependant on number of entries collected. The Prize Winners must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a resident of Ontario. The Prizes are non-transferable. Substitution of a Prize by a Prize Winner is prohibited. TORONTO 1 reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with a prize or prizes of comparable value. The selected entrants for the Prizes will be notified by telephone. In the event an eligible Prize Winner chooses not to accept his/her prize, or cannot be notified by telephone within 48 hours of the Draw Date, an alternate eligible Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all of the remaining entries. TORONTO 1, Sun Media Inc, and The Pickle Barrel herein referred to as “the contest sponsors” will not be held responsible for lost, delayed or misdirected entries. TORONTO 1 and the contest sponsors shall have no liability for any losses, damages or claims in any way related or attributable to the awarded prizes or the contest.
5. The selected eligible Prize Winners must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question and, will be required to sign and return a declaration and release form releasing TORONTO 1 and their respective affiliates, directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability arising in connection with this Contest, including liability arising from the acceptance and use of the Prizes as awarded.
6. The contest is open to persons eighteen (18) years of age or older, residing in Ontario, excluding employees (and persons with whom they are domiciled) of Toronto 1, the contest sponsors and their respective advertising and promotional agencies. By entering, contestants agree to abide and be bound by the contest rules and decisions of the contest judging organization, which shall be final. This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited.
7. All entries become the property of TORONTO 1 and will not be returned. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable or convertible to cash by the winner. By accepting the prize, a winner also agrees to the use of his/her name, place of residence and photograph in any related publicity without further compensation.
8. No responsibility will be taken for any failure of the TORONTO 1 website during the promotion or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any phone, e-mail, on-line, or Internet entry to be received by TORONTO 1 on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. TORONTO 1 reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the internet portion of this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of TORONTO 1 corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, TORONTO 1 reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. 10. The person is the “selected entrant” until he or she has correctly answered the skill testing question and properly completed the declaration and release.
11. TORONTO 1 will be collecting data about you through the various contest entry forms. Any personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policies at TORONTO 1 and its sponsors and will only be used for the purposes of conducting the contest. Contest sponsors will not transmit personal information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the contest. By participating in the contest, the entrant consents to such collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information.
