I entered just about every contest here, and I was wondering (this may have been asked before)...

Has anyone here won anything significant? Anything at all?

Well, I won a TV in a contest last year, and someone won in the Mastercard contest.

This question was asked, but I forgot to post this last time, so here I go:

March '2000 -> Funcow.com -> I won a whole PC!

P2-466 Celeron, 15" monitor, modem, sound card, 32meg RAM ( ) etc. I couldn't believe it was true - I just kept saying, "ok, whatever" until the thing showed up at my place. Only then did I yell "Nifty!!"

In the last little while I won a couple of contests... Back in june I won a CokeCard contest (T-Shirt, & other little stuff) Still haven't recieved the stash yet.. At about the same time I won a free kite from another marvel comics promotion. Just last week I was just notified a won another gift pack from Myto.com(telus) for filling out a quick survey (Not sure whats in this yet).

But so far my greatest stash was winning $500 off a $500 purchase from Futureshop. (does this count as a contest). Quite a few others from the bowl also won this too, just for being at the right place (here) at the right time...

Ever since a friend of mine won a all expense trip to London, England from a molson promotion I have been applying for everything I see.

I guess the trick is to apply for everything or anything which looks official and wait and see. Its free so it won't cost you a cent. Eventually I think most people will win something... may not be a PC or huge amounts of money, but maybe it could be...

So what's wrong with "nifty"? I musta said something like "Cool, it actually showed up!"... but "cool" is so blah compared to Juju's "Nifty!"... am I missing some teenage meaning for the word "nifty"

Sorry, your right! Somehow Juju makes the word sound so 'hip' when he says it, not all fish could pull this off!

btw ~ I'm assuming my 'youthful repartee' has lead you to believe I'm alot younger than I am.........I kinda like that but just for the record:
I threw away my fake ID a few years ago

I recently came home to two 2-way radios (try using 2 three times in a row). And I won copy of MS Links 2001 as well. Nice stuff for free.

I won a trip for two to see Sloan in concert in Toronto. Just had to say thank you to the bowl because chances are I entered the contest through here.
