Not acceptable. You are building the world for the future generations, and by not utilizing the knowledge generated by your generation to improve it, you're a waste of space.

well in that case I rather be a fat un healthy slob, then be a hitler wanna be.
your kind of people are the only ones worthy of living in this world! LMAO
if I don't eat healthy I am a waste of space? with an attitude like that, maybe
you need a little sugar in your life, cause all that bran & whole grain oats
must be making you bitter. your comments already left a sour taste in my
mouth, gotta go to another thread now, and catch up on some sugar, from
the waste of space catagory of people.

All this over a Happy Meal?!!

Really, I think everyone needs to take a step back. We do all kinds of things which are bad for us, what's really important is that we recognize they are bad, and don't over do it.

Teach your children to understand and value a healthy diet. Being "bad" and eating "bad" food, can be fun, and in small doses isn't a terrible thing. Just as long as no one is thinking that it's healthy.

Good Thoughts,

Brian

Wow, thanks Dakota, that's the nicest thing I've heard in a long time. I think we allow other forces to influence our thinking and how we express ourselves. I know I have. Let's just hope that as parents we can continue to do our best for our children, and teach them the lessons that will let them live a better life than ourselves.

So, what exactly happens when you eat McDonald's food for 30 days straight? There's information missing - for example, a specific breakdown of what was eaten (ie, did any salads get in there at all?), but I'm sure watching the film might answer some of the questions.

Does he have a valid point? I mean Jared ate Subway for how long, and lost weight. 30 days ruined this dude...

Wanting what I've got. Life is good!

Wow... Being 7 mos preggo, McDonald's late-night drive thru has been a bit of a saviour on several occasions when I just NEED that cheeseburger. Maybe now, I will opt for Wendy's and a baked potato instead.
Thanks for sharing that. It's the extra incentive for me to avoid McDick's at all costs now!

One of the most popular fils at Sundance this year was a documentary calle "Supersize Me" - here is a brief description copied from someone who saw it at [/QUOTE] Ain't It Cool News

SUPER-SIZE ME

(Director: Morgan Spurlock)

This amazing documentary asks the question: "what would happen if you subsided on a diet of absolutely nothing but super-size McDonalds meals three times a day for a month?" Well, if you've read the book "Fast Food Nation" you might have an idea, but this movie will blow you away. The director makes himself is own human guinea-pig, much to the consternation of his girlfriend and doctors. The results: chest pains, liver problems, 25 pounds of extra baggage... you get the picture. Along the way, he interviews experts, nutritionists, even Jared from Subway. A great doc that is as entertaining as it is unnerving. Don't be surprised if McDonalds tries to stop you from ever seeing this film.
