I don't know if you can do it again tomorrow...I'm new to this, just signed up thanks to SBS! Well if it doesn't let you, you could always create an id for...your evil twin?

Thanks sweetbabysam! Now if only they'd change the games so I can actually play and get youdollars! It's been over a month since I went to this site and still on all the games it says oops you've already played this one. Oh well, if they don't, I still have enough for a $10 GC!

yeah but does he know that a tampon can't get lost inside a person! (ha I just remembered another answer!

hey go for it anyways! It doesn't ask for age anywhere, and I don't see why it should discriminate against age. Of course there's no stopping you from helping him out with the answers!

He has a little trouble with the touchpad as well as the typing, but they have to know so much now before they start school and practice makes prefect.

Plus he does enjoy a good Disney movie!

Well, I signed up and I am hooked already. I have already got enough points for a 10 GC for blockbuster!

I don't know if I should be putting this here but if you get a wrong answer, all you have to do is exit the game before you get your total points and you can do it again!! I tried this as I was getting frusterated with losing and shut it down, when I came back, I was allowed to play the same game again! Just a little heads up for you all I'm sure when they get the site up and running fully, they fix all those kinds of bugs.

This is how you can get daily points at Youtopia. All those quizzes and such are great of course, but you can only do the majority of them once. I'm currently averaging a little over a hundred points a day with the following. Your milage may vary.

Daily:
Log-in (5 points)
Yup, that's right you get 5 points just for logging in. Name... password... that's easy enough, right?
e-mail, chat, calendar, profile (20 points)
Just click the links to go through these areas and that's 5 points a pop. You don't actually have to enter anything in the calendar, send any e-mail or talk in the chat room, you get points just for stopping by.
Wack the pop stars (10 points)
Fun though this is, I've never managed to get more than 10 points at this game. Frankly, it doesn't seem like there are even twenty-five heads to whack. And can I just say how frustrating it is when I'm whacking and whacking away and it just doesn't seem to register. Aww well, ten points is ten points. I'll take them.
Bumper cars (50 points)
This one has to be my favorite. I can basically get 50 points a day at this game. It may take me a few tries, but remember, if at first you don't succeed.... You can keep trying until you get it, your highest score for the day counts. Tip: Start the game with your fingers on the up and right arrows, this will take you right into the side of the other car.
Monkey Trading (27 points)
This is a stock market trading game which is reset every month. Theoretically, you can win points for being a top trader, but one look at the top traders list will show you how flawed this game must be. Still, you get 10 points for starting the game each month, as well as up to 5 points a day for researching stocks and around 22 a day for trading over two sessions. I know the secret to winning on the stock market is "buy and hold", but in monkey trading it's "buy and sell". It's all about the transactions baby. A note, buying and selling won't work in ie on a mac, so fire up netscape you mac users out there.

Every three days:
Buzz (25 points)
You can do five Buzz survey questions every three days. Five points per question. Don't worry if you run out of time, just go on and the question will come back. There's no way to lose this one... well, unless you forget to play.

Every week:
M@dnoyz ( points)
Reset every Tuesday, you can play once a week. This one can depend a lot on your knowldge of teen bands, so for most it may be mainly luck. Or... if you've really been wanting to check out that Britney website, maybe it can be an excuse. First there's a picture that they only show you a piece at a time while you try to guess who it is (hey, I got Moby based on an ear last week, I'm so proud). Then there will be trivia questions about the band and some bonus questions. Regardless of whether or not you know any of the answers, you've gotta get some points just by luck.

Whenever:
YOUr Chainletter (100 points
Definitely the easiest way to get points, refer your friends (or at least the people who used to be your friends before they got this). If they sign up, you get 100 points. There is an age limit though. Those under 13 have to go through a process of demonstrating parental consent.
You Wish (1 point x ?)
Put things on your wish list and get a point a piece. This one's not very appealing, because it would take all bloody day to get decent pointage. Still, know your options.

Let the games begin!

[corrected points for monkey trading]

Excellent post Cyanne!! thumbs up to you!
And 100 points a day is great! I'm not getting near as many....I need to practise driving my bumper car

I know what you mean! I've gotten it to the next level once And you're right....it is kinda anal about giving up the points on this one. I must be a very firm and definite click that's fairly centered on the popstar's head or you don't get it!

ahhh....good tip! I've been getting to the point where I can actually win instead of getting rammed to death So this manuveur might just give me the advantage I need!
Have you ever noticed a difference in the two characters? I've been wondering if one was better then the other.

Monkey Trading (17 points)
This is a stock market trading game which is reset every month. Theoretically, you can win points for being a top trader, but one look at the top traders list will show you how flawed this game must be. Yah...this one is totally easy! I do wonder how those high rollers got there though.....doesn't seem like it could be done honestly.

I'm pretty sure this one is 100 points if you ace it. But time being a factor in the scoring....it's pretty hard to get perfect.
I think I usually get about 96 or so. This is also one that you can start over again if you've screwing up. Just don't let it run right to the end and credit your points. So I make myself a couple notes as I 'fail' it the first time, then when I restart it I know all the answers!

You Wish (1 point x ?)
Put things on your wish list and get a point a piece. This one's not very appealing, because it would take all bloody day to get decent pointage. Still, know your options.

Yah....this one's pretty bunk If you add 10 things to your list you get 1 point each. Then I was never able to get anymore points from it....until now. Since they've opened back up I've been able to collect 10 more from using the list.

Ok I went thorugh the whole site and I see where you get to pick your GC but I don't see where it tells you how many "youdollars" it takes. I thought someone here said it takes 2000 "youdollars" to get a 10 dollar GC but where did you get that info?
Thanks

When you select a type of GC and enter a quantity it shows you how many points you need to claim it. All this and I haven't actually gotten a GC yet. Here's hoping....

Yeah, and it seems like maybe you have to have a steady hand too? I counted yesterday and I only saw twenty-one pop stars. Unless you get fewer for missing them that doesn't really seem fair.

Nope, no difference. I can win with either, though I switch between them just to spice things up.

Yah...this one is totally easy! I do wonder how those high rollers got there though.....doesn't seem like it could be done honestly.

Forget honestly, accurately is more like it. I'm very skeptical that anyone could have doubled their money in one day of trading, especially with the stocks that are there to choose from. Oh well.

Ahhh... sneaky. sneaky. I think one time when I tried that it didn't work, and I haven't tried it since. I must have waited a little too long or something. Come to think of it, I think I got 106 points from that game once (a long long time ago). I think the bonus Question can put you over the top.

I was just about to come correct myself but you beat me to it! I forgot about the bonus points And I don't think the timing affects your points like I was thinking.....

Shop at Chapters.Indigo.ca for Great Savings!

You can also get 20 pts per day for sending out an e-greeting card. You can send the e-card to one of your alias email addys that you use to get multiple GC's from them

BTW, has anybody received their GC's since this site went back online? When I got my GC from them (before they shut down), I got my GC in about a week. When my 'twin' cashed out you-points for a GC, it's been about 2 wks and still nothing.
