A beekeeper/mannequin maker that lives in the mountains with his tightrope-walking girlfriend kidnap the CEO of a large chemical company because he thinks the CEO is an alien from Andromeda. They torture the alleged alien to extract information about the imminent alien invasion of Earth. It’s like “Death and the Maiden” made wacky.

I love the idea for this movie. And even though the movie is long, there are enough story twists to keep it interesting right to the end, and to keep you guessing whether the main character is insane or the only sane man on Earth. It’s a funny movie (in a dark way) but also quite sad in spots. Kind-of like many dramas that come out of Australia. (Wish they didn’t use the “shaky-cam” in every action shot. Seems like a lot of Korean cinematographers are in love with the shaky-cam.)
