Merry Christmas Fellow Fishies!!!!

Well Fishies...I never thought it would happen to me...but my niece erased a tonne of files on my computer - including the contests that I enter daily - such as the energizer one, etc... I've lost the UPC's and everything to go along with it.

I'm trying to remember what contests I was entering daily now...(so I can do a search)...but I could use some help! Off the top of my head, all I can remember is the Energizer, Canada Post and Mars one!

If anyone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it - as everything in my 'favorites' with links hav been erased!!!!!

What you could also try is to restore your computer to a date when you know all that stuff was on it.

I was replying to this and MY computer decided it had enough and hit the submit button.
So as I was saying, errr, typing ... you could try restoring your computer to a date when you know all that stuff was on it. Just go to your Start menu them to Programs then Accessories then System Tools (at least that's how it is on mine).
Under System Tools, look for Ststem Restore then take it from there. You can pick a restore point and all should be restored to what it was on that particular date. It'll tell you all about it when you click on System Restore.

Hope this helps .... cuz that's a lotta important data to lose!!

If you use mozilla firefox, you can get foxmarks from their page. it keeps track of your bookmarks on their server, so if you do lose yours, you can get them back instantly.

Thanks for the advice - I've managed to restore the contests with the help of my fellow fishies.

invest in a mac... no blue screen of death ever.. no pc's for me!

Grrr long story short

Don't enter contests that involve a bar and a radio station. I should have known better as we have got taken before ie they are going to give away a trip but you have to sit there all night paying for your eats and drinks..and the time of the draw keeps getting pushed back so they can sell more.

But I thought straightforward tixs would not be like that..Lesson learned at the cost of putting someone else out.
