I think Amazon changed their policy.

That $5 off of $35 coupon I can't seem to use if the price before shipping is under $35. It never was like that before.

Really? I didn't know it had been that way - I always filled my cart up to $35, didn't think it could be used against the shipping or tax.

I've heard some people on other boards complaining about their coupons falling out of the cart....maybe that's what happened. You can always call them and see if they will apply it.....I like their CS they almost always bend the small rules for you, if they are in the position to do so.

I have never purchased from amazon.com before so I need help.

and if I can use my hubby's and my GC together?

If it's a regular gift certificate you should be able to stack them. if they are coupons then no it's one per order

Share the Love is is a way in which you purchase an item and then send a discount to people of your choosing. if they buy the same item that person will receive 10% off and you receive a credit for your next purchase. There are websites out there in which you add your email address to a master list. over time you'll receive a ton of STL discounts and you can pick and choose which ones you want to take advantage of.

There is no duty or taxes on Amazon orders which ship to Canada. You just worry about the exchange rate and the shipping costs (free shipping deals which they offer are not applicable to Canadian/Int'l orders).

You can't buy them period, GC or no. amazon.com will only ship books and movies to Canada.

Hey something weird just happened to me !

I tried both coupon codes alternatively (the 'new comer' code and the Telus, ref. other coupon site, that is CANADATELUSM - $10 off $50: Expires: 12-31-03) and none of them worked, of course. The first one did not work because I am using the same credit card as usual (I AM NOT A NEW CUSTOMER) and it did tell me that I am NOT a new customer blabla and to refer that offer to a friend.. and for the second coupon I got an 'expired' message. Why ? 12-31-03 is in the future, but hey, this was another coupon site, not juju's...

THen, after editing back and forth my order (adding and removing books..) I ended up with an empty field next to "promotion" which I updated (pressed on the button next to that empty field) and right away got 5$ off my order (not 10$) which order was slightly above the 40$ free shipping frontier.

Anyway I am happy. TRY IT TOO !

I love computer bugs.. But hey I am 'braging' about it now so I will pay for it later - they will probably edit my invoice and remove that unexpected rebate. Oh well.



ps : oh yeah I made sure to have a 50$ order when I tried the telus promotion code.. I am dumb on most days though
