I think it works like this: Some company wants to test their web site to see if it can handle a large amount of hits, so they then use the clients running on everyone's desktop to hit that site. So, this can potentionally use up a lot of your bandwidth, or, if you're from work, make it look like you're surfing all over the place.

You can set the program to work only as Screen Saver so the browsing/gaming is not affected.
All the points you have should be moved to your new team , at least this hapened in my case.

I have 3 running full-time (although 450Mhz or less - all from work) and 1 part-time, and I just can't catch up.
