I had problems with the MAPVSFALLNEW for a new customer also, until I realized I only entered enough items for free shipping, not the $50 to use the code, DUH! After I got my total over $50 it worked fine for me.

I noticed something with the mapsfallsnew code, its ONLY for VISA CUSTOMERS , as i tried using my amex (as i have used both my visa's as "new" accounts and i tried my amex and it desnt work (the proo is over monday anyways LOL)

They don't email you the code. It is found on Visa.ca under shopping and travel deals. Instead of all merchants you can change it to Amazon.ca click search and there it is. It is the same code for everyone. Have fun shopping.

Just a note for anyone who didn’t know: The GC you get from the HBC points is a promotional GC, meaning you can’t stack it with other promotional GCs or coupons.

You should be able to send it to yourself and still get the $5 off certificate, but I would send it to a different name (doesn’t have to be a real name) and different email address, just in case.
