Just wanted to get back here today and let you know that we have now reviewed all particpants' registration(s) and will be communicating with all of you today (via e-mail) with the details of your registration. As mentioned yesterday, all first entries from individual households will be honoured.

Because of this review, we have had to postpone the draw for the Grand Prize. The draw will occur tomorrow: Friday, October 22. All winners will be notified by telephone on Monday, October 25. You are insane!! Thanks to people like you, things result negatively for everyone. There's right ways and wrong ways to deal with people/companies. They are looking into the known error, but I guess that's not good enough for you. Some people need to get a life! sheesh

I just received this email from them:

Thank you for your patience as we reviewed the details of your registration in the 2010 Goodyear Truckwise Challenge. We have confirmed that we only received one registration from your household. We apologize for the confusion of our previous communications.

Please note that as revisions were required to ensure all entries were legitimate, the contest draw was postponed and will occur on Friday October 22, 2010. All prizes will be sent out by courier and can be expected before November 26, 2010. As stated in the contest details, all prizes will be delivered to you within 4-6 weeks.

Winners of the grand prize draw will be notified by phone on October 25, 2010.

Sorry, had to sign up just to give some information rearding "DAYDREAMER'. DEATH BY SPAM or whatver other identity this person is using today ( I dunno maybe Bustersmom. On another site she claims to have won an ipod, on yet another site her 1000's of email were sent even though she only won ballots So ----- (oops sorry I mean DAYDREAMER) which one is it??

If you go on frugal you'll find old posts of hers where she is angry at receiving cheaters letters for the nescafe mike holmes contest (dont know if you remember that one was a couple of years ago) She was upset at the time at her and her family not getting their 300 ! coupons (out of 7000 available coupons). She later backtracked and said it was 7 lol.

I lurk here at this site occasionally, work hard and enter contest only when I can so don't participate much in forums. I'm glad you're all able to recognize this person for what they are.
Honestly just sick of entering and entering contest and not winning only to see such GREED amongst some contestors. It is because of people like 'daydreamer" that less companies are holding contests and its getting harder for honest folk to win.

I wish you all here at Goldfishlegs (excluding Miss. multiple personalities of course) the best of luck in the upcoming TV draws, I hope to see more than one winner from here.

Is that why they did not mail out the prizes in 2-3 weeks after being won as stated in the rules?? Did a Martiz employee steal the money, so that there isn't any money to purchase the prizes?? To try and cover this up did they come up with hair brained idea to just DQ all the winners?? I have been contesting like a mad hatter for a decade now, and have never seen anything like this before. Very strange........

Ya think there is a conspiracy(ies) here? Wow you must have a lot of time on your hands.I see on other sites as BCCONTESTER has mentioned you have issues with just about eveything that you don't like about one contest or another.IMO

Now i would like to say thank you to all the companies who put on these contests, even though some are not always perfect, I do appreciate the chance to play and to win. I am very grateful for what I do win and very happy for others as well. And I think I speak for most people here when I say this.

There seems to be a lot of accusations and resentments flying here. Regardless of what anyone did, the contest is fixed and the majority of people are happy with the results.

If someone did send their 1000 or whatever emails, they did and there is nothing anyone else could do about their action.

It's a contest..period. Calling people names and making accusations about people does not do anything in regards to contesting.

IF the person who did that wanted to do that they did .

I dont get why it bothers so many others what someone does...it's a contest site..for heavens sake,and it's a contest.

I'm sure we all have more important things in our lives to worry about?

The contest 3rd party fixed the issue and it seems like the majority is happy and isn't that what it's all about?

Naming a person's real name for whatever the reason is not a good thing on these boards, it could lead to someone getting very hurt, emmotionally and physically if someone knows them or lives near them and feels resentment etc. It's a form of bullying too.

Let's give it a break people and be happy we are getting our prizes and leave it at that.

I just want to explain one thing to you about why it bothers me about what this person has done. People like her are a black mark on contesting, she and the very small percentage of contestors who behave like her are the reason many companies decide to stop holding contests. Their excessive greed ruins it for the rest of us. I'm sure more and more contests will be requiring a PIN for entry to stop this. I do think contest companies should require proof of ID/address before you receive your prize, would ensure contest are kept honest.

Now I have not many any accusations whatsoever, only posted what she herself has posted online. I find it absolutely ludicrous that I could be referred to as a 'bully'. I could have posted her full name and email address but I didn't. I think sending some poor sap in promotions thousands of nasty emails is 'bullying' but whatever,

The way I've always seen contests,sponsors,etc is simply a chance for me to win something.It costs me nothing...I do it for fun and of course,to win every so often I've been contesting for 6 years and always understood one basic "rule".The sponsors can,at ANY time,change,cancel,etc the contest! I hope every fishy ends Oct on a fun and,or,winning way!

I do understand where you were coming from with having a problem with excessive emails etc.

However "outing" someone on a contest board, using their real identity is not fair play. With all the identity theft, etc on the internet, and giving someones real name, causes a chance for them to be hurt physically.

What if someone read that and was angry as you were and lived close by the person whose name was "outed" they could act on their anger .

It's just not good contesting or good board etiquette to do something like that.

I"m sure that you could have put all their details on here, but would that have been a nice thing to do?? I dont think so and it was good you had a conscience and decided not to. That being said.. isn't it enough already.
