I like the sweet potato ones, sammy!

But guys - the topic of this thread was "Share your Favourite Recipe".... Look, I'm no culinary wizard, but I can follow a recipe quite well, and I even improvise on occasion. But I've got no real good cookbooks or anything, and so I'd love if you guys would share any of your favourite recipes - veggies, pasta, meats, side dishes... Anything at all!

Please?

Wanting what I've got. Life is good!

One of the easiest & cheapest recipes I know has no name. I made it up, when I kept running out of time to make dinner for the kids between activities.

Set oven at 325.
Take 1 pkg chicken (I used legs/thighs. there's usually 4 to a pkg. I also skinned them.)
Place in 9x13" baking pan.
Get 2 cups of water and mix in 1 pkg. onion soup mix. Add frozen veggies (your choice) if desired.. Pour over chicken, cover, and place in oven. After one hour, add potatoes (I like to add carrots and celery here, too) Bake for another hour.
Voila! Chicken, potatoes, AND gravy!

Thanks angelface! It sounds quick and easy - my favourite type of recipe! I'll have to print this and store it when I get home. I'll probably go for some boneless skinless breasts though.

Here is one of my favourite recipe, called double delight : Take one part Crown Royal and add one part Crown Royal. Mix it well. Enjoy!

Garlic Breadcrumbs (same as above)
Flour
Egg

Ummm... potatoes (boiled)
Garlic (boiled w/taters)
Butter (before milk)
Milk (don't skimp, make it creamy)

Red Peppers (slivers)
Spanish onion (rings)
Field Mushrooms (whole or halves)
Thai-Thai Sweet red pepper sauce

« fillet pork (if needed)
« pound the crap out of it
« pound it some more
« coat in flour (helps the eggs stick)
« submerse in beaten eggs
« roll in cheese/flakes/crumbs mixture

Cheese Rice

Cook Minute Rice. Equal parts water and rice, some salt, and butter or margarine. When cooked, add shredded cheese to it and serve. Mozzarella is good, but marble or cheddar are more popular.

Simple. but really good.
