The products he can not obtain in his own country & accepting from you are in fact blackmarket for there own consumption is it not??I,m under the impression you can take some items in for your own persanal use. I,m not perfectly clear on this. You should be carefull that any of these items can be sold on the blackmarket there for big dollars. If your the source are you not liable for getting into trouble with there goverment? The have totally different rules for there own residents than the tourist.

I have medical insurance which covers 100% of my medical costs. My wife will be here in about three months . Why do you think I need to steal Aspirine and Vitamins ?

I trust that the doctor will distribute the donations as he could face imprisonment if he trys to sell them on the blackmarket.
It is a very small comunity and you can't hide anything there.

Please do not rule everyone out so quickly. People are certain to be a bit skeptical when reading such a plea on a messageboard. Remember not to take all of the questions as an immediate slam, but (for some) as true inquiries. I do not think 2batgirl was asking to discredit you or to say "you can not do it", but just to genuinely know what the rules are for such things.

Perhaps you could set up a website with all the details and even pictures of the area. (Even make a "name" for your effort). Also, I think it is easier for people to be willing to donate money for medicine rather than the medicine itself. Have you tried asking local businesses yet?

I don,t understand why your sorry? If you are going to ask people for things you need to answer questions without getting upset. I was in no way trying to insult you or your efforts. I was only concerned things are kosher. You are only allowed to enter cuba with a certain amount of things, any more & your in trouble as stated here<You many enter Cuba with three bottles of liquor, a carton of cigarettes, 50 cigars, gifts totaling no more than $100 in value, and prescription medicines (for personal consumption) either in their original bottles or in other bottles accompanied by a doctor's prescription>
