So I was visiting my in-laws and they have kids under 10.

In the middle of the night I wandered down to the kitchen to get something to eat and while walking through the play area I stepped on a lego.

Of course I reacted and grabbed my foot and hopped around trying to stay quiet but as I hopped around I hit another lego with my other foot.

I quickly realized that the floor was littered with lego like a rice paddy in Vietnam is littered with leftover land mines and I was stuck in the middle.

As I lay on the floor wondering how I had come to this moment in my life I remembered how lego was a fun toy from my youth but had now come back with a terrible vengeance.

So lego...are you a fan or not?
