I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the covering for a balcony door window that looks like frosted glass with a pattern on it? I saw some at Home Depot but they were quite expensive and they only had a checker pattern. They just stick on and can peel off when you move.(They kind of look like etched glass) We can't hang blinds because it's a fire door so I thought this would nice so people can't see in.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Between all the big name hardware stores, the window films are pretty much the same price.

At the home show this past spring, there were a few professinals who actually installed the film, but depending on the size and the details of the designs, it can be expensive.

You can buy a special "stained glass" paint to cover glass.

It would make it more opaque and comes in a variety of colors. This is not for making real stained glass, this is paint that you put on top of a window, and it resembles stained glass.

We bought some at Kent's (local maritime building supply). I think a 5 pack was only about $10-15. It was in the craft section.

Don't know if it is option for you since it is somewhat permanent.

You could also try finding something like this:

This brand seems to be in England only, but I would assume that you can buy something similar around here somewhere.

Good luck
