Hi, I really hope I am not violating the rules on self promotion but I would really like some feedback on my new website. It is a work in progress so content so far may be a bit scant.

The idea is to have a site about Halifax, NS. We have a search engine that only returns results about Halifax as well as local news feeds and a couple of articles about current local stories.

Feedback would be much appreciated on how people think I am heading so far.

Thanks Orange for the comments! I found the twitter trending code on the twitter goodies on the twitter site itself. There is a step by step guide there. Here is the link.

I will send you my specific code via PM and you can modify it for your site and what you want displayed. Basically it filters and displays just anything you indicate with a # tag. So ours is anything with #Halifax that shows up anywhere on twitter.

Sorry, the contest is Halifax only :-) ...we are targeting Hfx visitors to the site and the author is a local sooo. I'm afraid the contest is not going so well however *sigh*
